Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICOFR) are central to maintaining the integrity of financial reporting, ensuring compliance with regulations, and fostering trust among investors and stakeholders. By implementing robust ICOFR controls, companies can safeguard their financial health and reputation, ultimately facilitating long-term success.
IT systems play a crucial role in facilitating Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICOFR) by ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and security of financial information.
BT’s financial control framework is undergoing significant change as part of the Digital Transformation. It is critical that the transformation programmes design processes and controls aligned with the strong ICOFR framework. Working with operational and transformation teams across the company, you will set objectives, define IT control accountabilities, and help prioritize and deliver continuous improvements and high standards in reporting.
