Job summary

Leicestershire Police in Annesley is offering an EMSOU Financial Intelligence Officer Internship (Undergraduate) on a fixed term contract for 12 months. The role is open to current undergraduate students seeking a year in industry as part of their degree.

You will gain hands-on experience working with data, reports and business insights, collecting, interpreting and reporting information to internal and external departments.

Qualifications

• You must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline, including Criminology, Psychology, Crime/Cybercrime Investigation, Digital Forensics/Forensics Science, Computer Science or Cyber Security, Mathematics, Data Science or Statistics.
• You must be able to problem solve, make effective decisions & manage your time effectively to prioritise workload.
• You must have experience delivering written reports and verbal briefings.

Responsibilities

• Assist in collecting, interpreting and reporting information to internal and external departments.
• Produce comprehensive written reports detailing background research and provide structured conclusions.
• Support EMSOU with new ideas, approaches and ways of working to advance our response to criminal activity.
