Editor, Public Finance

Remote

This is an opportunity for an experienced editor to join a publication focused on influencing government figures regarding the UK’s fiscal policy-making. Their reporting and data are utilized by renowned UK financial institutions such as the Bank of England, FCA, HM Treasury, and others.

The role involves setting content themes, commissioning articles, and leading a team to produce insightful coverage, with a focus on researching financial data and engaging with industry experts and policymakers.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Coordinate editorial, design, and production teams
• Maintain and grow industry contacts, commissioning high-quality contributors
• Lead editorial meetings and define content strategy
• Research, write, and produce original content

Key Requirements include:

• Significant experience as a financial journalist, preferably in public finance
• Or substantial experience in financial policy within government or The Bank of England

Work is required one day a month at their Norwich office, accessible from London.
