Following a recent merger, the company is undergoing a major transformation, including harmonizing finance applications and data. The focus is on data quality and integrity, with a need for a subject matter expert to own this globally from a finance perspective. The role involves driving finance data strategy to enhance data accuracy and leading integration with Power BI for reporting.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about data and its value, with strong finance data analysis experience (e.g., P&L, billing) and excellent stakeholder engagement skills. The role may suit someone from a finance/accounting background with a technical element or a technology specialist in finance systems and data. Essential experience includes:

• Deep knowledge of finance data, preferably in professional services or consulting
• Experience in improving data quality & integrity and leading data strategy
• Extensive data analysis, governance, and structuring skills
• Proficiency in SQL and SQL Query Analyzer
• Experience with data governance tools like Purview or Collibra
• Proficiency with Power BI
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to promote data quality importance across functions
• Background in finance systems from a tech or accounting perspective
• Experience in complex, global enterprise environments
• Willingness to work in the office in City 3 days/week

Salary: £85k-£92k + bonus + benefits. Location: City of London (60%) & remote (40%).
