Job description

We are looking for an experienced Financial Crime Systems, Threat & MI Manager to join a new evolving team, who can help to shape, grow, and bring innovation to our Financial Crime journey!

About the role

You will be responsible for the Society's Financial Crime systems supporting the Financial Crime Risk Management Framework & broader Society FC controls through advanced data mining, statistical analytics, threat intelligence, and financial crime risk model development.

You will own the design, delivery, and implementation of robust and fully optimized quality and effectiveness control testing to ensure high standards of oversight, compliance, and control through FC systems technology. You will develop cohesive and inclusive solutions adaptable to changing requirements.

You will also design and execute quarterly and annual reviews of the Systems Oversight Activity Plan to reflect changing priorities, emerging risks, issues, and change controls to mitigate risks. You will be accountable for ensuring proactive and effective frameworks and solutions are in place across FC Systems, Threat Intelligence coordination, and utilization. Additionally, you will deliver and disseminate regular analysis and MI across FC operational activities, providing insights and risk data based on internal and industry information to better equip the company to manage its FC risk effectively through processes and technology.

About you

• Committed to producing high-level product overviews, analytics, and MI across the FC arena
• Working knowledge of FC systems such as Actimize, SAS, SQL, Business Objects, Power Console, Tableau, etc.
• Subject matter expertise in financial crime risk, including AML, KYC, Sanctions, and Fraud in retail banking products, and understanding of the UK regulatory environment.
• Strong product management experience within a financial services environment
• Sound knowledge of FC regulations, trends, and threats in the FC arena
• A self-starter and an effective leader of people
