Overview

Citrus Recruit are excited to be working with a global organisation to recruit for an experienced Financial Crime Monitoring Analyst. Our client, a leading international insurance business, is looking for a Financial Crime Analyst to join their growing Compliance Team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 1+ year of experience in a financial crime, compliance, or data analytics role or a graduate with some relevant experience and strong analytical capabilities looking to take the next step in a supportive and dynamic environment. This position will see you working across a range of compliance and financial crime monitoring activities, gaining exposure to high-impact projects, regulatory engagement, and control frameworks across global insurance platforms.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities & day to day duties
You'll play a key role in supporting the Monitoring & Assurance activities, with additional involvement across advisory, governance, and investigations.

  • Conducting monitoring and quality assurance reviews in line with the Compliance Monitoring Plan.
  • Supporting the production of regular and ad hoc reports for internal stakeholders and governance committees.
  • Helping to enhance the monitoring framework and internal procedures, including the use of data analytics to drive insights and improve controls.
  • Providing input into the annual Compliance Plan and Financial Crime Monitoring Programme.
  • Assisting with internal audits, regulatory visits, and the preparation of relevant materials.
  • To support and assist with training, as necessary, the 1LOD Financial Crime Operations Team.
  • Contributing to broader compliance initiatives, including risk assessments, policy reviews, and communications.

  • At least 1 year of experience in financial crime, compliance, audit, or data analytics (financial services preferred).
  • Strong analytical mindset and excellent attention to detail.
  • Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Organised, proactive, and able to manage tasks to deadlines.
  • Keen interest in risk, regulation, and financial crime prevention.
