Department Summary:

Financial Crime, also known as Financial Security at Crédit Agricole, is divided into three teams in London:

• FS Advisory and Governance
• Fraud Prevention & Special Investigations
• Quality Assurance

This vacancy is within the FS Advisory and Governance team. The team provides controls and procedures to ensure compliance with internal FS policies, local regulatory obligations, and aims to reduce financial crime within the financial sector.

Key Role Responsibilities:

The role involves assisting FS in fulfilling its legal and regulatory obligations in the UK, with responsibilities varying based on experience. Key duties include:

• Advisory: Providing opinions on higher risk credit requests, transactions, payments, and clients from a financial crime perspective.
• Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD): Offering assessments on high-risk clients.
• Live Payments: Acting as an escalation point for payments filtering and customer screening alerts.
• Reporting: Contributing to management information reports for senior management and committees.
• Projects: Assisting or leading local and group projects, representing FS in working groups, and engaging with stakeholders.
• Training: Supporting the development and delivery of local training programs.
• SME Escalation Point: Providing subject matter expertise and guidance on financial crime issues to stakeholders.
• Other: Performing ad hoc and new tasks within the FS London team.
