Overview

Take full ownership of the FOS/FSPO complaints process, handling all incoming regulatory complaints and liaising with relevant stakeholders across the business to ensure timely and compliant resolution.

Responsibilities
  • Take full ownership of the FOS/FSPO complaints process, handling all incoming regulatory complaints and liaising with relevant stakeholders across the business to ensure timely and compliant resolution.
  • Ensure all FOS/FSPO findings and recommendations are actioned in line with business and regulatory requirements, including the preparation and submission of monthly reports.
  • Maintain and update all FOS/FSPO guidelines, workflows, and process documentation to reflect current regulatory standards and internal policies.
  • Investigate 2nd stage FOS/FSPO complaints thoroughly and independently, ensuring responses are objective, well-documented, and supported by evidence, in accordance with the companys complaints handling policy.
  • Draft and submit responses to the FOS/FSPO within required timeframes, coordinating with Legal, Compliance, and other relevant teams as needed.
  • Manage all correspondence and evidence related to FOS/FSPO cases, ensuring accurate record-keeping in internal systems (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Liaise with the FOS/FSPO for follow-up requests, additional information, and case clarifications, ensuring all communications are logged and deadlines are met.
  • Support the SAR (Suspicious Activity Reporting) team as required, including assisting with NCA, GO AML, and LATAM SARs in line with global policy standards.
  • Assist with compensation/redress cases, coordinating with Finance and Payments teams to ensure timely and accurate resolution.
  • Contribute to ongoing improvements in complaints handling processes and compliance controls.
  • Undertake other duties as assigned by line management, in accordance with the needs of the business, and adhere to internal disciplinary procedures, workflow practices, and company policies.
  • Maintain confidentiality and data protection standards in all aspects of work.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements and promote a safe working environment.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and respect in all interactions with colleagues, clients, and external parties.
Qualifications
  • University degree in Law, Business, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • Experience in regulatory complaints handling, financial crime compliance, or a similar role within financial services (desired).
  • Familiarity with FOS/FSPO processes and UK/EU regulatory frameworks (highly desirable).
  • Experience with financial crimes investigations, regulatory reporting.
  • Certifications in CAMS, CFE, or related certifications a plus.
  • Strong analytical and investigative skills, with the ability to interpret complex information and draft clear, concise responses.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Computer literacy, including proficiency in MS Office and case management systems (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
