Job description

The Financial Controller will support the Finance Director and manage a small team. Working for a services company based in Elgin.

Main duties and responsibilities

• Managing rolling cashflow model, flagging issues to FD for early response.
• Preparing monthly finance report and management accounts for Board reporting.
• Preparing, reviewing and challenging detailed depot/filling station/divisional P&Ls.
• Overseeing monthly/quarterly external reporting to bank, HMRC etc.
• Staff management.
• Primary focus for annual audit process.
• Driving a culture of business partnering.
• Representing finance on the Elgin Leadership Committee, chaired by MD.
• Developing and upskilling the existing team, ensuring appraisals completed in a timely manner.
