Job summary

Pure 4 Recruitment is seeking an experienced Financial Controller / Finance Manager for an established Blackburn manufacturing business. The role starts on a temporary basis for three months with a strong likelihood of permanent progression to a Finance Director over time.

Immediate availability is essential. You will lead Sage 50 implementation, establish solid financial controls, and deliver timely management reporting while supporting day-to-day financial management and strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Strong cash-flow management and forecasting experience.
• Experience preparing complete monthly management accounts.
• Knowledge of VAT registration and year-end processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Sage 50 implementation and configuration.
• Establish robust financial controls and reporting procedures.
• Produce monthly management accounts for review by the Fractional Finance Director.
• Manage short- and mid-term cash-flow forecasting and reporting.
• Support year-end accounting and liaise with external accountants.
