Part Time Financial Controller wanted in London

About the role:

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Financial Controller to support our client in South London. The successful candidate will be pivotal in delivering accurate and timely financial reporting, adding value across the business, influencing key decisions, and shaping the financial direction of the company.

About you:

You are ideally fully qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACMA/FCCA/ICAEW) or QBE with experience leading a finance function. This role is self-employed, allowing you to work alongside other client work, but you must have a minimum of 2 full days available.

Responsibilities and experience:

1. Managing cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
2. Improving processes and financial controls
3. Balance sheet reconciliation
4. Leading a small finance team
5. Confident in presenting financial and non-financial information
6. Proficient in Excel (pivots, sumifs, graphs)
7. Experience with Xero; Sage50 and QuickBooks are a plus
8. Must be fully qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACMA/FCCA/ICAEW) or QBE with 5+ years of experience

Salary: £38 per hour

Location: London South (onsite)

Hours: 2 days per week
