Job Description:

Our client, a leading Global Hedge Fund, is looking for a Qualified Financial Controller to join their growing Finance function responsible for financial reporting, financial analysis, and strategic initiatives. The role will be wide-reaching and covers all elements of Financial Control, running various Management companies in different jurisdictions.

The role will include:

• Financial Accounting and Reporting under IFRS, UK GAAP, and US GAAP
• Responsible for month-end closing of management entities
• Management Accounting including preparation of Management Information, Budget & Forecasting, and Cashflow management
• Assist in regulatory filings across the EMEA regulated jurisdictions
• Focus on improving processes & controls

Requirements

• Qualified Accountant (ideally ACA or equivalent and Practice Qualified)
• Post-qualification experience in Financial Reporting & Control gained within a Financial Services firm
• Strong Excel skills
• Experience of reporting under IFRS, UK GAAP & US GAAP
