  • Lead annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes.
  • Ensure compliance with UK and international financial and tax regulations.
  • Partner with venue GMs and department heads to evaluate performance and identify growth opportunities.
  • Implement system improvements for financial workflows and reporting.
  • Work proactively with central finance, operations, and clients to ensure timely debt collection.
  • Collaborate with venue teams to improve margins, manage costs, and enhance profitability.
  • Train operational teams on financial reporting to boost performance and accuracy.
  • Ensure costs and revenues are accurately recorded and cash controls are maintained.
  • Achieve forecasted budgets and KPIs.
  • Support robust forecasting and budgeting with measurable goals.
  • Assist with quarterly VAT returns and oversee P&L reviews with stakeholders.
What you'll bring to KERB
  • Proven success in a similar Financial Controller role, ideally within hospitality or events.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, scaling business, with ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Strong financial data analysis skills with high attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills for presenting to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, Google Workspace, and accounting software like SAP.
  • Highly organized, numerate, and discreet with confidential data.
  • Ability to manage workload and supervise a team, creating clear processes to meet deadlines and controls.
What you'll get by joining KERB
  • Generous food and beverage discounts.
  • 25 days holiday plus birthday off.
  • Wellbeing allowance, private medical insurance, and employee assistance program.
  • Season ticket loan and enhanced family leave policies.
  • London Living Wage and commitment to diversity and inclusion.
  • Recognition as a Best Companies employer.
