Job summary

Camino Search is partnering with a PE-backed business in the healthcare sector to appoint a Financial Controller. You will own the financial control agenda, lead month-end and year-end close, and manage statutory accounts and audits as the group scales.

Reporting to the CFO, you will drive cash forecasting, treasury controls, and covenant reporting while leading an ERP implementation and automation program. A strong multi-entity controls background and PE/M&A exposure would be advantageous.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
• Strong background in financial control, statutory reporting and audit
• Experience of cash management, banking and treasury controls
• Systems minded, with a track record of improving processes and reducing manual work
• Hands-on, collaborative and motivated by change and ownership
• Experience in distribution, healthcare, field services or stock-heavy environments, or PE, M&A or ERP exposure, would be advantageous

Responsibilities

• Own the group’s financial control environment and balance sheet
• Deliver a fast, well-controlled month-end and year-end close
• Lead statutory accounts and the external audit
• Own cash flow forecasting, banking and covenant reporting
• Lead a new ERP implementation and drive automation
• Build a robust control framework, including inventory controls
• Integrate acquisitions and support future transaction readiness
• Partner closely with FP&A to support management and board reporting
• Lead and develop a growing finance team
