You will report to the Finance Director, focusing on Peter's Yard financials, processes, reporting, and cross-group projects. The main focus areas include:

SOF Peter's Yard

• Management, control, forecasting, and reporting of the business's finances.
• Full P&L and Balance Sheet responsibility, supported by a GL Accountant.
• Month-end close for Peter's Yard, including accruals, prepayments, and reporting.
• Recurring and ad-hoc reporting on commercial, operational, and overall business performance.
• Costing and yield analysis for the bakery supplier.
• Budgeting and forecasting, consolidating stakeholder inputs.
• Partner to the Managing Director and leadership team, providing insights and analysis.
• Profitability analysis to identify growth opportunities.
• Key contact for Peter's Yard audit processes.

Group Natural Foods UK

• Develop tools to convert demand planning data into financial insights.
• Participate in SAP S/4HANA testing to ensure system fit.
• Support group projects, aligning tools and processes across the business.
• Assist team members during peak periods or absences.

Requirements include:

• Fully qualified accountant
• Bachelor's degree in an analytical or finance field from a reputable university
• Advanced Excel skills, with experience in data management, analysis, and forecasting
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement
• Strong analytical skills for trend analysis and recommendations
• Experience managing month-end closing and reporting
• Project management experience from initiation to completion
• Stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
• Agile mindset, adaptable to diverse tasks and supporting the finance team
• Experience with SAP is preferred
