Our client is a highly respected financial services organisation (Mortgage & Savings). Due to a restructure, they are recruiting for an Interim Financial Controller for a 6-month period. The role requires immediate availability and involves travel to their Head Office in the East Midlands on Mondays and Tuesdays, with the rest of the week working from home. There will be a handover period.
The Financial Controller will manage a team of 4 (including 2 direct reports), overseeing financial operations such as treasury back office, accounts payable, payments, and reconciliations. The role includes evaluating and managing financial risk, ensuring regulatory compliance, preparing financial statements, coordinating audits, and ensuring the accuracy of financial information, including tax (supported by third parties).
