WPR is pleased to be partnered with a leading international insurer who are looking for a Financial Controller on a 6-month fixed-term contract based in Wimbledon. (2 days in the office).

The successful candidate will lead the UK Financial Accounting team, ensuring the delivery of accurate financial reporting under UK GAAP and IFRS. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external auditors, driving engagement and fostering a productive finance team as well as implementing the Financial Risk Control Framework. The successful candidate will have:

1. Proven experience in financial reporting, with strong technical accounting expertise (IFRS and UK GAAP).
2. Management experience in a financial environment, fostering team performance and engagement.
3. Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial systems like Cognos or Workday.
