Medlock Partners are delighted to have been retained to help recruit a Financial Controller in a

Reporting into the Managing Director the role has been created to help professionalise and bring stronger financial control into a business that has enjoyed sustained growth and success since being launched.
The business is now looking to appoint a Financial Controller to take ownership of the finance function and provide the Managing Director with the financial information, insight and control required to continue running the business successfully.
This is a hands‑on Financial Controller role and will work closely with the owners to help further drive the business forward whilst improving reporting, reducing deadlines, and giving more financial visibility across the company.
As Financial Controller, you will take ownership of the company's finance function and become a key member of the senior management team.
You will provide the MD with accurate, timely and commercially relevant financial information, allowing better decision-making around profitability, stock, working capital, cash and the ongoing performance of the business.
The role will suit someone who is comfortable building and improving processes, rather than simply inheriting an established finance department.
You will initially be hands‑on, establishing the foundations of a robust finance function, before developing the reporting and analysis required to give the business greater financial visibility.
This is a rare opportunity to join a successful business, established and respected in their market, profitable and debt‑free. The role is to professionalise and strengthen an already performing company, identifying areas of risk and cost, whilst maximising and maintaining profit margins.
If you're a qualified accountant who wants ownership, influence and the opportunity to build something rather than simply inherit it, this is worth a conversation.
