Qualifications

• Experience in refinery, foundry, or manufacturing is advantageous.
• Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent) required.
• Experience with Dynamics NAV software is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support the Head of Finance with day-to-day accounts function.
• Prepare and post journals, produce GBP Trial Balance.
• Full monthly balance sheet reconciliation and liaising with senior managers.

Job description

Overview

The purpose of the role will be to support and assist the Head of Finance with the day to day accounts function including all accounting matters required to produce accounts to trail balance for the Stone X Metals entity.

Job Purpose and Responsibilities

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES

• Refinery / Manufacturing stock accounting, reporting and analysis
• Month end accounting – all aspects from preparing and posting journals through to GBP Trial Balance production, USD revaluations and then submission to Head Office
• Full monthly balance sheet reconciliation
• Liaising closely with all senior Operational and Production Managers
• Intake and settlements with customers in both precious metals or currency, including prior agreement of precious metal assays with customers
• Trading of precious metalsvia 3rd parties
• Hedging metal price movement risk
• Management reporting and KPI’s
• Support on the annual budget.
• Preparation and submission of VAT returns
• Preparation of Cashflows
• Payroll processing via Head Office
• Liaising with Auditors

Qualifications

• Previous refinery / foundry / manufacturing experience would be advantageous
• Experience of using Dynamics NAV software is desirable
• CIMA, ACA, ACCA Qualified Accountant or equivalent
