Financial Controller, Watford, Hertfordshire
80-90kpa, plus Bonus & Benefits


Our client, a leading services business with a brilliant reputation, is looking to add the capabilities of a well-rounded Financial Controller. This role will lead the finance function and be a business partner to the business. You will also support the Finance Director in ensuring the integrity of the financial data and reported numbers. The successful candidate will promote growth in the business, support finance initiatives, and process improvements as the business goes through a period of change.


Key Duties:
  1. Support and coach the finance team
  2. Oversee month-end reporting processes
  3. Business partner to the business and provide technical and operational finance guidance
  4. Support the forecasting/budgeting processes
  5. Lead balance sheet reviews
  6. Support external audit process
  7. Support acquisition due diligence and financial integration
  8. Ensure appropriate financial governance and controls are in place
  9. Lead/support continuous improvements initiatives
  10. Lead/support on ad-hoc projects/initiatives

The successful candidate will be fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) and have demonstrable experience in line with the above. You will have a good level of ambition as this role has strong developmental opportunities.
