About The Starknet Foundation

The Starknet Foundation stewards the growth of Starknet, a cutting-edge Layer 2 blockchain built on Ethereum. Our mission is to scale Ethereum without compromising its security or decentralisation, making powerful, efficient decentralised applications accessible to all.

Now is an incredible time to join Starknet. The ecosystem is expanding - developer activity is growing, transformative projects are launching, and the technology is proving its strength. As adoption accelerates, this is your chance to shape the future of decentralised infrastructure.

We’re not just building technology - we’re reimagining what the digital world could be if it was built with integrity. The Starknet Foundation is home to a world-class team of builders, researchers, and community leaders, all working to create a more open, fair, and decentralised future. At the Foundation, you’ll collaborate with a close-knit team of driven, creative, and unconventional minds to make this vision a reality.

About The Role

The Starknet Foundation is on a mission to change the financial landscape, and we need a Financial Controller to help us do it. If you're a finance pro who thrives in a fast-moving environment and wants to work at the cutting edge of decentralised technology, this is your chance.

This isn’t just another finance role—you’ll be shaping financial strategy in an organisation that’s rethinking how value moves in a decentralised world. An interest in blockchain, web3, or digital assets is a plus, but a passion for innovation and a sharp financial mind are a must.

How You Can Make an Impact

  1. Manage accounting for the Foundation and its subsidiaries across multiple jurisdictions, including the Cayman Islands.
  2. Oversee Group consolidation and reporting, ensuring financial clarity across all entities.
  3. Produce key financial dashboards, KPIs, and board packs to guide strategic decision-making.
  4. Lead tax strategy for direct and indirect tax, transfer pricing, and inter-group service agreements.
  5. Help establish best-practice cryptographic asset accounting.
  6. Coordinate external audits to ensure compliance across the Group.
  7. Act as a director for a wholly owned Cayman Islands subsidiary.
  8. Work closely with the Head of Finance on broader financial initiatives.
  9. Support leadership with innovative economic models that push the boundaries of traditional finance.

Who You Are

  1. ACA, CPA, or equivalent qualification with at least 5+ years’ experience in finance and IFRS.
  2. A strong technical background in corporate governance, tax, transfer pricing, and financial controls.
  3. Experience managing corporate structures, reporting, and compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
  4. Prior exposure to blockchain, web3, fintech, or financial services is a big plus.
  5. A company secretarial qualification would be an advantage.

This is more than just a finance job—it's a chance to shape the future of decentralised finance while working with a world-class team. Ready to bring your expertise to a high-impact role? Apply now and help us build the future of finance.
