Job summary

Investigo in St Albans is seeking a Financial Controller to own group financial reporting and technical accounting across a complex international structure, combining hands-on delivery with systems and process improvements as the business scales.

You will gain exposure to financing projects, international expansion and strategic corporate activity, while partnering with senior leaders to drive governance and reporting excellence. Hybrid working three days per week in the St Albans area.

Qualifications

• Strong financial reporting experience within a multinational environment.
• Technical accounting expertise with IFRS.
• Strong NetSuite experience or similar ERP.
• Exposure to revenue accounting and intercompany accounting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the group's monthly and year-end financial reporting processes.
• Own the preparation and review of consolidated financial reporting for a multi-entity international group.
• Act as the technical accounting lead across the business.
• Manage complex accounting areas including revenue recognition, consolidations and intercompany accounting.
• Oversee statutory reporting requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
• Partner with business leaders and regional finance teams to ensure reporting consistency and accuracy.
• Be a superuser for the ERP system (NetSuite).
• Drive improvements in financial controls, reporting processes and governance.
• Support external audits and key stakeholder relationships.
• Contribute to finance transformation and systems enhancement initiatives.
• Support strategic projects including financing activities and corporate transactions.

The Opportunity

Working closely with senior finance leadership, you will take ownership of group financial reporting and technical accounting across a complex international structure.

The role combines hands-on delivery with the opportunity to influence systems, processes and reporting standards as the business continues to scale. You'll play a key role in ensuring the finance function has the controls, governance and reporting infrastructure required to support future growth.

Alongside core reporting responsibilities, you will gain exposure to strategic initiatives including financing projects, operational improvement programmes, international expansion and potential future corporate activity.
