Footasylum is seeking a Financial Controller to lead the Reporting and Transactional Finance teams, partnering with the Finance Director. The role spans reporting, control, and compliance, covering CAPEX and risk management within a high-growth retail business.
You will manage management accounting, statutory reporting, and transactional finance, while maintaining strong balance sheet controls and stakeholder reporting.

We are looking for a Financial Controller to head up the Reporting and Transactional Finance teams and to act as a true partner to the Finance Director. The role is varied and will be split between reporting, control and compliance with key responsibilities around capital expenditure and risk management.
The role will report into the Finance Director but will also work closely with FP&A, Business Partnering and Procurement. The role will head up the reporting team (management accounts as well as other statutory and stakeholder reporting) and transactional teams (incl. cash and banking, accounts payable, and accounts receivable). In the area of CAPEX there will be requirements to partner with the wider business around capital projects and budgets.
