Description
  • Financial Management & Reporting - Oversee daily operations of the finance and accounting department and prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Job Costing & Project Accounting - Coordinate with project managers to track and forecast costs, billing, and margins (WIP)
  • Budgeting & Forecasting - Budgeting & Forecasting (also modelling work)
  • Lead the annual budgeting process and mid-year reforecasts
  • Team Leadership - Supervise and mentor accounting staff (e.g., AR/AP clerks, accountants)
Profile

A Successful Financial Controller Should Have

  • A professional qualification in accounting or finance.
  • Experience in a project-based environment
  • Strong technical knowledge of financial reporting and compliance standards.
  • Proven experience in managing financial operations in a professional setting.
  • Attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
  • The ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
