Responsibilities:
- Financial Planning and Reporting:
- Financial Planning and Analysis:
- Developing and overseeing budgets and financial forecasts.
- Conducting variance analysis to compare actual performance with budgeted figures including cost center expense.
- Analyzing financial data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for cost savings.
- Financial Reporting:
- Preparing and presenting accurate and timely financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Ensuring compliance with local financial reporting requirements.
- Internal Controls and Compliance:
- Establishing and maintaining robust internal control systems to safeguard assets.
- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Coordinating audits (internal and external) and implementing audit recommendations.
- Operational Support:
- Production Control:
- Analyzing production data to identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies in the manufacturing process.
- Collaborating with APU managers to develop solutions for scrap, rework, OEE, productivity and efficiency.
- Supply Chain and Purchase Control:
- Evaluating the financial impact of supply chain decisions, such as sourcing materials from different suppliers or changing logistics partners.
- Working with the procurement team to negotiate better terms with suppliers and optimize the supply chain to reduce costs and improve reliability.
- Cost Reduction Initiatives:
- Identifying areas where costs can be reduced without compromising quality or production capabilities.
- Implementing lean manufacturing principles, such as reducing waste, improving process efficiencies, and enhancing workforce productivity through targeted training programs.
- Capex Control:
- Assessing the financial viability of proposed capital projects, such as new equipment purchases or facility upgrades.
- Conducting cost-benefit analyses, projecting the return on investment (ROI), and providing recommendations to management on whether to proceed with the investment.
- Inventory Control:
- Ensuring accurate inventory accounting and overseeing physical inventory counts.
- Analyzing inventory turnover rates and identifying slow moving or obsolete inventory. Working with the supply chain team to optimize inventory levels and reduce carrying costs.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Acting as a liaison between the finance department and other departments to ensure financial considerations are integrated into daily operational decisions.
- Facilitating regular financial review meetings with cross-functional teams to discuss financial performance and operational issues.
- Supporting new product development including cost estimation, price strategies and profitability analysis.
Requirements- Honesty and integrity with respective manner
- Bachelor or above academic degree with major in finance, accounting or other similar disciplines.
- 5+ years of finance working experience in manufacturing.
- ERP skill, i.e. SAP FI/CO
- Strong Microsoft skills
- Excellent writing and communication skill in English and Chinese
