We are seeking a Financial Controller with an entrepreneurial spirit who excels in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment to join our team. Blink Medical Ltd is a PE backed business, producing single use surgical instruments to customers worldwide.

Job Responsibilities

• Creation and presentation of the monthly management accounts including full variance analysis.
• Presentation of monthly financials to the Corza Group Finance team.
• Updating standard costs and sales quotation tools annually.
• Analyzing monthly manufacturing variances and reviewing with the Production Director.
• Working with the FD/plant manager, plus other senior management, suggesting areas for improvement and ensuring strict cost control.
• Full preparation of budgets (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash, Production and Purchasing budgets).
• Preparation and submission of statutory reporting (P11D, P46(car), PSA, Confirmation Statements).
• Preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns.
• Reviewing intercompany reconciliations and intercompany FX revaluations.
• Reviewing monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Approving the company Purchase Orders.
• Responsibility for the development of the finance team, completing annual appraisals for 1-2 direct reports.
• System administrator responsibilities for our current ERP system, Microsoft D365.
• Liaising with auditors, taking ownership of the annual audit.
• Reviewing Corporation Tax submissions.
• Reviewing monthly payroll submissions.
• Identifying areas of weakness, ensuring continuous improvement within the finance function.

• Strong standard cost accounting knowledge is essential.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to take full ownership of monthly accounts and budgets.
