Financial Controller - Telecommunications
Location: St. Helens, Merseyside
Salary: Circa £50,000 + benefits
Schedule: Full-time, permanent

This is a fantastic role for a commercially minded finance professional who's ready to take ownership of the day-to-day finance function while supporting wider strategic decisions. Company and Role:This is a key leadership role within the business, reporting to the Managing Director and working closely with the senior management team to ensure financial health and operational efficiency.
- Full responsibility for day-to-day finance operations and reporting
- Preparing and presenting monthly management accounts
- Cash flow forecasting and financial planning
- Budgeting and performance analysis
- Driving cost efficiencies and supporting strategic decision-making
- Managing audits and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Improving financial processes and internal controls
- Mentoring and supporting junior finance team members
Successful Applicant:- ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior finance role
- Strong background in telecoms or a related industry
- Proven experience in producing financial reports, budgeting, and cashflow management
- Excellent Excel and financial system skills (Power BI and Access a plus)
- Commercially minded with strong business acumen
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and confident working closely with senior stakeholders
