About the Company

Motormax is a leading provider of innovative vehicle safety and security solutions, supplying a wide range of products including camera systems, parking sensors, DVRs, and bespoke installations. With a reputation for quality, service and continuous innovation, we work with both individual customers and some of the UK's largest fleets.

Motormax is a privately owned company which has, very recently, sourced institutional expansion capital to take advantage of the excellent commercial opportunities available.

Market growth is significant, driven by increasing regulation and proven improved economics for its customers due to both reduced accident rates and corresponding falling insurance premiums.

Our growth ambition is for Motormax to become the UK's market leader and a globally recognised player in the fleet safety sector. As we continue to expand, we are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join our dynamic team at our head office in Shenstone.

  • Oversee payroll, VAT returns, and statutory compliance
  • Support year end audit process and liaise with external accountants/auditors
  • Provide financial modelling and analysis to support strategic planning and commercial decisions
  • Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and implement robust financial controls
  • Support system and process improvements as the business scales
  • Manage and develop a small finance team

  • Strong systems skills, including Excel, Word and Powerpoint.
  • Proficiency in the use of AI tools to aid productivity.
  • Knowledge of Exact accounting system would be an advantage but is not essential.
  • Proactive, hands on approach with a commercial mindset
