Manufacturing Financial Controller up to £80k, with development opportunities

Hays Senior Finance is partnering exclusively in the search for a Financial Controller to join a dynamic and growing manufacturing business based in Leeds. This is a pivotal leadership role, offering the opportunity to shape financial strategy, drive operational excellence, and lead a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop the finance function, ensuring robust financial controls and compliance.
  • Drive continuous improvement across financial processes and reporting systems.
  • Partner with operational teams to enhance performance and cost efficiency.
  • Deliver timely and accurate management reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Mentor and develop finance team members, fostering a culture of accountability and growth.
  • Support strategic decision-making with insightful financial analysis.
You will need:
  • Fully qualified (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA).
  • Proven experience in a UK manufacturing environment with strong financial control expertise.
  • Demonstrated success in process improvement and change management.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the business.
  • The right to work in the UK without expiry is essential.
  • A driving licence and access to transport is required for the location of the organisation.
