Duties Of The Financial Controller Role

A project-focused, owner-managed SME based in Central London is looking to hire an ambitious ACCA/ACA/CIMA Qualified Financial Controller to join them on a permanent basis. Reporting to entrepreneurial Directors and supervising 1 Assistant Accountant, the Financial Controller will:

• Oversee/design and implementFinancial Controls.
• Act as a true finance business partner with key stakeholders across the business in order to gain up-to-date data toensure accurate financial reporting
• Lead the COO, lead on the annual budgeting and forecasting process
• Produce monthly management accounting packs to present to the Senior Leadership Team
• Oversee all transactional accounting (AP/AR/Treasury) and payments.
  
  

Requirements Of The Financial Controller Role

• ACA/CIMA/ACCA Qualified Accountant
• Experience working within a project-focused environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong Excel skills
• Ability to mentor staff
• Strong finance systems skills
• Inquisitive
