MERJE is partnered with a Regional Building Society in their search for a Financial Controller / Head of Finance.

In this role, you will manage the Middle Office Finance function and report directly to the Finance Director.

You will be responsible for:

1. The preparation of the Annual Report and Accounts, Monthly Management Accounts, Key Performance MI, Strategic Business Plans, and Financial Stress Testing.
2. The accurate and timely submission of information to the Society’s regulators.
3. Fulfilling decision-making duties as a member of the ALCO, Mortgage Credit Risk, and Management Risk Committee.
4. Supporting the Society’s strategic goals, providing leadership and direction to the Finance team in a compliant and transparent manner.
5. Managing all relevant outsourced and third-party relationships within Finance, ensuring compliance with the Society’s Outsourcing and Third Party Suppliers policy.

To be considered, candidates must come from a Retail Banking background with a thorough understanding of Mortgages and Savings.
