Financial Controller Permanent Hybrid £70,000-£85,000 per annum plus bonus Based in Hatfield

Role details

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join their team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic finance team, where you will play a crucial role in managing the company's financial operations and guiding financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures. Responsibilities of the Financial Controller

1. Manage all aspects of the company's financial operations including accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
2. Develop and implement financial strategies for the business.
3. Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements relating to finance.
4. Provide strategic recommendations to enhance financial performance and new business opportunities.
5. Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
6. Research technical accounting issues for compliance.
7. Support month-end and year-end close process.

What the successful candidate will bring

1. Fully Qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA)
2. Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role.
3. Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
4. Strong leadership and organisational skills.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
6. An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers.
