You will be joining the NHS based in central Surrey.

Your new role
I am delighted to be partnering with the NHS based in Surrey. You will be taking on a key Financial Controller role on a contract basis for approximately 6 months. The role offers a high level of flexibility and can be based across several locations in central Surrey, but for the right candidate, a fully remote position is also possible.

Your role will be focused on:

1. Run financial accounting and reporting, including overseeing a small, experienced team
2. Deliver statutory accounts
3. Ensure a clean balance sheet
4. Internal audit
5. Support a wider ledger systems change
6. Cash management of the budget

What you'll need to succeed:

Alongside your accounting qualification, you should be a proven finance leader with NHS experience overseeing financial/statutory accounting. You should be a confident team player and deadline-driven.

What you'll get in return:

A competitive salary is on offer. If you are not based within Surrey, the hiring manager is open to exploring a fully remote appointment.
