Job description

Recruiting exclusively through CMA, our client is a well-established business with impressive growth plans over the next three years, which will largely come through various planned acquisitions. They currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Financial Controller to join them at their head office near to Wimborne, Dorset, to play a key role in supporting this growth.

What will the Financial Controller role involve?

• Working closely with the CFO and being closely involved in acquisition accounting;
• Providing strategic support and playing a key role in developing the company’s strategic goals and objectives;
• Leading the rest of the finance team to ensure continuous improvement and a high performance culture;
• Financial reporting and analysis, budgeting & forecasting, cash flow management, compliance, tax & risk management.

Suitable Candidate for the Financial Controller vacancy:

• Fully qualified, preferably with some previous working knowledge of acquisitions accounting;
• A strong knowledge of statutory and financial regulations;
• A background within a private equity backed business could also be beneficial.
