Are you ready to take the reins of a dynamic finance function and make a real impact? We’re looking for a strategic, hands-on Financial Controller to join a thriving business in Evesham. Salary: £65-75k

?? Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the MD to shape and implement financial strategy.
  • Lead, mentor, and support the Finance team.
  • Deliver accurate cashflow forecasts and support cash management.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts with insightful commentary.
  • Oversee stock costing and ensure robust financial controls.
  • Drive budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Manage payroll and VAT returns.
  • Ensure accurate financial records through journal postings and reconciliations.
  • Provide variance analysis and strategic insights.
  • Act as a trusted Finance business partner across the leadership team.

  • Proven experience in a senior finance role.
  • ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified.
  • A natural mentor with a passion for developing others.
  • Skilled in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
  • Strong understanding of stock costing and reconciliations.
  • Confident juggling multiple priorities and stakeholders.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with accounting systems.
