Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking a qualified Financial Controller for a media production client based in the United Kingdom. This mid-senior level position requires strong financial reporting skills and the ability to manage a team of 8. The successful candidate will review management accounts, prepare statutory accounts, and lead audit processes. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Review monthly management accounts ensuring variances are explained.
• Produce statutory accounts and lead the audit process.

The Opportunity

The business is ideally looking for someone who is qualified and currently working in the media industry.

What you’ll be doing:

• Managing a team of 8 (qualified, non-qualified & manager)
• Reviewing the monthly management accounts, ensuring variances are explained in detail
• Production of statutory accounts and leading the audit process
• Preparing monthly group cash flow
• Reviewing and approving budgets
• Attending Senior Leadership meetings to discuss company performance and cost control
• Review and improving group policies
• Managing, motivating and success planning the team
