Interim Financial Controller - 12-Month FTC with a potential permanent contract

Are you a qualified accountant with a passion for partnering with leadership teams and driving financial performance? We’re recruiting for an experienced Interim Financial Controller to join a fast-growing, entrepreneurial business on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce monthly management accounts across six group entities/divisions
  • Deliver commercial and overheads analysis, and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Partner with divisional leadership teams to provide insightful reporting and forecasting
  • Lead budgeting and forecasting activities
  • Manage weekly cash flow forecasting
  • Prepare year-end audit packs and liaise with external auditors
  • Support ad hoc finance projects in a dynamic environment

What We’re Looking For:

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within an SME environment
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
  • High level of autonomy and accountability
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft applications
