The Opportunity

Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you will play a pivotal role in providing financial leadership across the business, ensuring robust financial control, strategic decision support and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the finance team, creating a high-performance culture.
• Deliver accurate and timely management reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
• Provide commercial insight and financial analysis to support strategic decision making.
• Partner closely with operational and commercial teams to identify opportunities for growth, efficiency and margin improvement.
• Drive finance transformation, process enhancement and systems optimisation initiatives.
• Support major capital investment decisions through robust financial modelling and ROI analysis.
• Oversee statutory reporting, audits, compliance, treasury and risk management activities.
• Strengthen controls, governance and financial processes across the organisation.
• Play a key role in regional and international projects

Profile

We're looking for a confident, engaging and commercially minded finance professional who can build trust quickly and communicate effectively with stakeholders across the organisation.

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
• An experienced Financial Controller, Head of Finance or Senior Finance Manager.
• From a manufacturing, engineering, FMCG, pharmaceutical, industrial, supply chain or similarly complex operational environment.
• A natural leader who develops high-performing teams.
• A strong communicator who can challenge constructively and influence senior stakeholders.
• Open, honest and highly credible with the ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels.
• Comfortable driving change, continuous improvement and finance transformation projects.
• Commercially astute with strong analytical and decision-support capabilities.
