SME Financial Controller, Hybrid, Crawley

Your new company

We have an exciting opportunity for a growing commercial SME client, looking to recruit a Financial Controller to work closely with the Managing Director.

Your new role

You will oversee a small team and be responsible for updating the daily cash flow forecasts, ensuring payments, identifying monthly account payables and verifying payments, processing PAYE payroll and staff payments. You will support the effective implementation of the company's anti-corruption and bribery policies, assist with credit account applications, audit the supply chain for financial compliance, and carry out monthly WIP assessments. You will develop and implement financial policies and procedures, support management and statutory account preparation, produce and present monthly business financial overviews to the Board, and assess, plan, and implement improvement processes to enhance financial management across the business.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be an ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified accountant with extensive experience gained from working within a SME business. Excellent communication skills are a must, as well as strong management and financial accounts knowledge.

What you'll get in return

This is a hybrid role, mix of office and remote, salary £60,000 - £75,000 depending on experience, along with pension.
