Are you a qualified Financial Controller who wants to help lead and sustain the growth of a dynamic SME?

This is a great opportunity for an established Financial Controller to lead the reporting, finance transformation and system development of a growing finance function and work alongside a driven senior leadership team. Offering hybrid working, a salary up to £80,000 and a car allowance, the ideal candidate will need be fully qualified with post qualification experience.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee all accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, cost accounting, inventory accounting, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts.
  • Analyze financial performance to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance financial systems and processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Manage cash flow and optimize working capital.
  • Oversee the Invoice Financing debt facility.
  • Maintain strong relationships with banks and financial institutions.
  • Administer and monitor credit insurance arrangements.
  • Support the CFO with Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), including budgeting, forecasting, and capital investment activities.
  • Lead the external audit process and ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory financial reporting requirements.
  • Oversee tax reporting and ensure compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks.
  • Stay informed on industry developments and changes in regulatory requirements.
What you’ll get
