Job description

Reporting to the CFO as Financial Controller you will lead on all aspects of accounting, reporting, tax and financial systems for this scaling fintech lending business.

Responsibilities will include;

• Month end close and consolidated management accounts
• Preparation of consolidated financial statements at year end and leading the external audit for group
• Regulatory reporting to the FCA
• Investor reporting on a timely basis
• Drive for automation, process and control enhancements
• Being the technical accounting lead on accounting matters
• Oversee outsourced service partner for tax and payroll
• As the company continues to scale, build/recruit a high quality financial controllership team
  
  

You will have experience working within lending or retail banking, be a qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA with strong experience in a financial reporting position. You could be someone seeking their first move from audit with experience working with banking/lending type clients and looking to transition to industry too.
