Financial Controller | Manufacturing SME | Strategic & Operational Focus

A well-established and growing SME in the manufacturing sector is looking for an experienced Financial Controller to lead its finance function. With a c£50m turnover, this is a high-impact role that combines strategic influence with hands-on ownership of day-to-day finance operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver timely, accurate monthly management accounts
• Manage cash flow reporting, banking relationships, and audit preparation
• Oversee an efficient accounts payable process
• Lead the accounts receivable process
• Ensure accurate and compliant payroll
• Identify and implement process improvements

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in a finance leadership role
• Strong understanding of working capital, cash flow, and financial controls
• Confident producing management accounts, managing audits, and liaising with external stakeholders
• A hands-on and proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills across finance and operations
