Permanent Full-time Office-based
Are you an experienced manufacturing finance professional who wants to be closer to the operation, influence commercial decisions and play a key role in the growth of a successful privately owned business? We are recruiting a Financial Controller for an established British manufacturer based in Coleshill. The company is entering an exciting period of growth, with plans to increase turnover significantly over the next three years and develop further areas of the business. This is a broad, hands-on Financial Controller position with real influence. You will take ownership of the finance function, work closely with the Factory and Sales Directors and become an integral member of the senior management team. You will not be confined to producing reports from behind a desk. You will be expected to understand how the business manufactures its products, challenge margins and costs, identify important commercial issues and provide the directors with the insight needed to make informed decisions.
Experience of Syspro or Sage would be useful, although candidates with strong experience of other manufacturing systems will also be considered. A CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualification is preferred. However, an exceptional qualified-by-experience candidate with extensive manufacturing and costing expertise may also be considered. Experience within plastics, extrusion, automotive supply, engineering, industrial products or another complex manufacturing environment would be particularly relevant. Why consider this opportunity? This is a chance to join a successful business at an important stage of its development.
This is an office-based position in Coleshill, working Monday to Friday, typically 9:00am-5:00pm. The role requires someone who wants to be present in the business, work closely with the factory and sales teams and become involved in day-to-day operations. Regular homeworking is therefore not available.
