Financial Controller - £60000 - £65000 per annum - Belfast

Your new company
Hays has been exclusively retained to recruit the Financial Controller position for this growing organisation. As part of a large group of companies, you will be tasked to drive growth and work with the Senior Management team to deliver this development.

Your new role
As the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for the Full Accounting process across the business, ensuring monthly management accounts are delivered, you are closing off month end and supporting the business to make commercial decisions.

  1. You will produce the monthly finance board pack, developing the commercial information to support decision-making.
  2. Control the budgetary processes and formal annual budgets with monthly budget reporting.
  3. Manage and lead a small team of Accounts staff.
  4. You will build relationships with key stakeholders across the business to help with commercial awareness and to act as a financial business partner.
  5. You will be driving business performance and product margin improvement.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a Qualified Accountant with experience post qualification in industry. You will have experience of working with senior leaders as a business partner, assisting them to make critical decisions.
