Financial Controller Basingstoke Hybrid GBP75,000 + Benefits

Are you an experienced Financial Controller looking for your next challenge? We are working with a well–established, multinational business in Basingstoke, seeking a skilled finance professional to join their senior management team.

The Role:

As Financial Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance, and supporting key business decisions. Reporting to the Cluster Controller, this is a high–impact role offering excellent career progression within a global organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Managing financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting
2. Supporting business strategy with financial analysis and insights
3. Ensuring compliance with IFRS, IAS GAAP, and UK GAAP
4. Leading cash flow planning, credit control, and working capital management
5. Overseeing project accounting and profitability tracking
6. Acting as a key business partner to senior stakeholders
7. Managing statutory, tax, and audit requirements
8. Driving process improvements and financial controls
9. Leading and developing the finance team
10. Liaising with Group IT to oversee local financial systems

About You:

1. Strong knowledge of IFRS, IAS GAAP, and UK GAAP preferred
2. Multi–site and international experience
3. Proficiency in SAP, HFM, Exchequer (advantageous)
4. Strong leadership, analytical, and commercial acumen
5. Advanced Excel & PowerPoint skills
6. Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive financial strategy
