A leading transportation organization in Manchester seeks a candidate to enhance their shared services control framework. Responsibilities include supporting compliance to policies, driving process improvement, and delivering analytical reports with Power BI. Candidates should have prior experience in accounts management, excellent stakeholder engagement skills, and familiarity with Oracle eBusiness Suite. This permanent position offers a salary of circa £27,000 per annum and various employee benefits including flexible work options.
Our Shared Services team deliver specialist processes that have a direct impact on the performance of Network Rail, our customers and suppliers. These services include payroll, recruitment and onboarding, payables, receivables, financial accounting, reporting, and helpdesk support. Within the Control & Process Framework team, we support shared services to maintain a robust control framework, risk management, and governance processes, and improve processes and controls whilst managing our risk profile.
Are you someone with excellent attention to detail and accuracy? Do you have experience of working in accounts payable/accounts receivable with a financial control/risk assurance background? Do you thrive when working autonomously in a fast-paced environment managing several important tasks at once? If so, we have the perfect job for you! We are looking for someone who can help support the work of a team who manage the control framework and follow strict policies and procedures. Ideally you will be able to problem solve and demonstrate attention to detail within a fast-moving financial environment. We are looking for someone who is inquisitive with strong analytical skills and a genuine interest in how processes and controls work and finding smarter ways to do them.
