Overview

A global manufacturing organisation is seeking a experienced Financial Consultant to support its UK operations through a period of change and process improvement. This interim assignment offers the chance to make an immediate impact in a complex, international business environment.

The Opportunity

You’ll act as a key finance partner to local management and the international leadership team, reviewing financial processes, supporting month-end close, and strengthening reporting and control frameworks. This is a hands-on role suited to a finance professional who combines strategic insight with operational expertise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide financial leadership and support across two UK sites
  • Review and enhance existing financial systems, controls, and reporting processes
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis
  • Support the preparation of monthly and year-end reports
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to improve decision-making and cost visibility
  • Contribute to ERP optimisation projects (experience with IFS or similar systems advantageous)
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and assist with audit preparations
About You
  • 10+ years’ experience in finance, consulting, or financial leadership
  • Experience within manufacturing or international multi-site organisations
  • Strong understanding of core financial processes and controls
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems (IFS preferred, others welcome)
  • Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to quickly assess, recommend, and implement process improvements
