Job summary

Icon Cancer Centres UK is recruiting a Financial Billing Lead to oversee the UK billing function from Reading, with one day weekly at Corsham and regular travel to cancer centres across the UK. You will drive accuracy, timeliness and compliance in billing, and lead system implementations and process standardisation within a healthcare finance context.

The role requires 5+ years in medical billing (oncology desirable) and strong financial administration experience.

Your role

Financial Billing Lead

We are seeking a meticulous and initiative-taking Financial Billing Lead to join our finance team at our specialist private oncology centre. The Financial Billing Lead - UK is responsible for the end-to-end leadership, performance, and continuous improvement of the UK billing function. This role ensures accurate, timely, and compliant billing across all payor types while leading system implementation, process standardisation, documentation, and training across the country.

Location: Based in Reading with 1 day per week at our Corsham Site and regular travel to our UK wide Cancer Centres

• Annual leave of 25 days + bank holidays (increasing to 27 days after 3 years' service)
• Pension: You will be auto-enrolled from day 1 at 5% (with an employer contribution of 4%). You can also opt to increase your contribution to 6% to which the employer will also contribute 6%.
