Finance Assistant - £28-32k

Reading - Hybrid (3 days in office)

The Company:

We are recruiting for a professional services recruitment business based nearby to Reading train station who are looking to add to their finance team with a finance assistant who will have 6-18 months working experience within a finance role.

The Role:

• Daily bank postings and bank reconciliations
• Monthly Sales Reconciliation
• Credit Card Transactions
• Coding and approving invoices on system
• Posting expenses
• Assisting the Management Accountant with Accruals and prepayments
• Core AP and AR functions
• Raising sales invoices, credit notes, client communication management regarding AR, posting sales transactions on Salesforce and Sage P&B system
• Obtaining daily exchange rates and updating records in Excel and Sage Intact.
• Running and reviewing aged creditors reports, suggesting payment runs for approval
• Updating cash flow post payment runs

Your Skills & Qualifications:

• Accounting/Finance Degree
• Must be adaptable and able to grasp new systems quickly and embrace change
• Good excel ability
• Strong time management, planning and organisational skills, attention to detail
• Self-motivation and a willingness to continuously learn and change
• Experience in AP & AR
• Being approachable and a Team player is key
• Must be passionate about Finance

This is a superb role for a Finance Assistant looking to continue with their qualification. You will be working in a busy & fast paced environment. This role will be working onsite 3 days a week.
