Job summary

Talenty is an established multimillion‑pound logistics business in the UK, supporting the Finance Director with day‑to‑day accounting and reporting. The role covers month‑end, management accounts, reconciliations and financial reporting, with exposure to margin reporting, cash flow and supplier claims.

You will work closely with the Finance Director and wider team, gaining broad experience and the opportunity to take on more responsibility as you develop towards a Financial Controller role.

Qualifications

• Finance Assistant, Management Accountant or similar experience
• Good understanding of accounting principles and management accounts
• Experience with month-end, reconciliations and financial reporting
• Strong IT skills, with Sage experience beneficial
• Practical, organised and comfortable working across a broad range of finance responsibilities
• Confident building relationships with internal stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day accounting and reporting for the business
• Hands-on role across the accounts function, with focus on month-end, management accounts, reconciliations and financial reporting
• Involved with margin reporting, cash flow, financial analysis, customer rebates, supplier claims and credit control
• Work closely with the Finance Director and wider team, supporting internal audit and year-end activity
• Take on more responsibility as you develop

About the role

• This is an opportunity to join an established logistics business, supporting the Finance Director across the day-to-day accounting and reporting for the business.
